March 1, 2008: Upcoming weekly lessons will start up at the BB&T Center for Performing Arts
in Luray, VA starting in April! More info will be added shortly!

Also, just spruced up a few pages and added a little bit more content.

October 16, 2007: This has been one of the most fun web-updates I have ever done before...it is midnight in San Antonio and I am surrounded by my wonderful gypsy friends at the local hooka bar. Though I have opted to sip at some coffee instead of smoke...and there is free wifi, how sweet!

Well, it was badly needed, I have once again re-vamped the whole website. It's a lot simpler than the past one, but, I just felt that I needed to tone down some of my websites a little bit. At least for a little while.
Please feel free to email me with your comments, I hope the new look is appealing to all and most importanly, easily navigated.
Just about every single page has been updated, and we have also added a few new pages as well. I still have a lot of work left to do, but, at least here is  a start!

March 11, 2007: Some long needed updates have been added to the Events Page, Bios, FAQ's, as well as a few others.
Cheers!

November 27, 2006: Some exciting new Celtic Gypsy news has happened over the month of November and it was about time I got a chance to post it. First off, we are thrilled to announce that we have welcomed a fourth member to our ranks as part of the troupe! A huge and hearty welcome to our friend, Sara (aka "Anastasia")! Whoohoo!
Secondly, I would like to announce that on November 18, I became engaged to the love of my life and best friend, Eddie. :-D We couldn't be happier!!
Cheers!

October 3, 2006: Many many new updates just posted! I have finally (a year later!) gotten around to adding the photos from the 2005 season at MD. Also, I have posted the 2006 photos from the Potomac Celtic Festival, and by the end of tonight will also have the Milford Renaissance Festival and both Spring and Fall seasons at the VA Ren Faire up and running. That is a ton of photos, woohoo!
Our weekend at the special fall appearance of the VA Ren Faire was fantastic, we had SO much fun.
Check back soon for more updates!
Cheers,
Webgypsy Meg

September 22, 2006: Just got around to adding the image gallery from the Vermont Renaissance Festival to the photo gallery. :-) I am still behind on uploading and sifting through images, but I will get there. Our gig in New Hampshire went nicely last weekend, it was strangely hot for that time of year, but we still had a blast. Photos from that event to be posted shortly as well, I hope!
Cheers,
Webgypsy Meg

September 13, 2006: Holy smokes, do I have a lot of work to do to this site! I'm getting there though. Work and and the weekends have me pretty well tied up at the moment, it doesn't look like we will have a spare weekend until sometime in November. That's a good thing though, I guess. ;-)
The Maryland Renaissance Festival season has started, hard to believe we're going into our 4th weekend already. We will be missing it however, as we will be making our way North again for a gig at a NH Ren Faire. Can't wait! I wanted to come online and try to organize the photos page a bit before we left though. I will try to have many more images added to it shortly.
Well, make sure if you see us at Faire, stop by and say "hey". :-)
Cheers!

July 26, 2006: Added a few more images to the photo gallery in the musican page.

July 23, 2006: A lot has transpired over the course of a month. We lost a dear friend of ours, "Bagel", to which I am still numb about. It's hard to believe that someone so filled with life one day could be gone forever the next. We will never forget you, Bagel.

Also, the VT Ren Fest has come and gone far too quickly, and we are now left with tons of photos to sort, and even more memories. We now have the first and second weekend up and running over at www.marylandrenfairephotos.org, with the final installment to be posted this weekend.
Make sure you tell those you love, you love them, and don't walk away from someone angry. We're not guaranteed a breath, so make it count.
Peace,
-Meg

July 05, 2006: Hard to believe that we've already done one weekend at the VT Ren Fest. Where the heck has this year gone?! I've just finished with some major photo updates over at my other site. The last day at VA Faire, Potomac Celtic Fest, and the first weekend of Vermont can all be viewed at:
www.marylandrenfairephotos.org
More to come!
Peace,
-Meg

June 20, 2006: Happy one-year anniversary to the Celtic Gypsies Dance Troupe! The troupe reached their one-year mark on June 11, 2006, and celebrated it together on June 16. Woot! With that in mind, we have packed up all of our stuff at our old web address and have migrated on to our new and permanent site at www.celticgypsies.com. All of the old pages should be up and running properly at the new address, the photos in the photo gallery may still be at the old site for a while, but they are still viewable.
We had an amazing time this past weekend, and lived it up in true gypsy style. We made it to both the Potomac Celtic Festival and the VA Ren Faire, where we performed with dancing and drumming throughout the day. I still have yet to upload all of the photos (well, most of them anyway) from the weekend, I want to have them all online by the beginning of next week. The countdown to the VT Ren Fest has begun, Brynn and I will be traveling up North next week.
Slainte!

June 15, 2006: Just uploaded the first two weekends at VA Ren Faire which can be viewed here. I still have two more past weekends, plus this upcoming one at both PCF and VARF. Check back soon! There will be much posted!

June 15, 2006: Upcoming Events has been updated, we will be at the VA Ren Faire this upcoming Sunday, June 18. We will be drumming and dancing in the huge green and burgundy tent (the tent with all the delicious fudge!) right next to the Rose Stage throughout the day. We will also be roving the faire with our drums and tassles, we hope to see you there!
Also, finally, we now have all three bios up and running with Brynn's now completed. Whooho!
Lastly, we have a new central place on the web at Tribe.net, (CelticGypsies) similar to our gypsy blog, however, this one is open to others who want to join as well. As I am rather nomadic, I like to set up cyber tents in many places, hehe.
I am also busy working on a few other things for the website, though due to time constraints, hehe, I'm lagging a bit behind.
Come out to the Potomac Celtic Festival and VA Ren Faire this weekend if you can!
Cheers!

May 5, 2006: Upcoming Events has been updated! More to come soon!
Cheers!

May 1, 2006: Lot's of updates to report! We have (thanks to Kristen) a whole page devoted
to our most Frequently Asked Questions. This is very in-depth, and should help folks who
haven't seen us perform (or have, and are curious to learn more) understand a little better
who we are and just what exactly we do, with and definition of "Celtic Fusion". We now also
have a "Troupe History" page located in the "About the Troupe" section of the web. There have also been some bio updates.
We are currently in the process of finalizing performance dates, so please check back soon as they
will likely be posted very soon!
Cheers!

April 21, 2006: Rainy Monday to rainy Friday - Updates for now include many new graphics (I love my software!) as well as fixed up the bio pages again. Apparently, they weren't working so... thanks, Kristen! :-) There should be more updates by the end of the weekend, I hope. Still need Brynn's bio online! *note to Brynn* Hope everyone likes the new graphics!

April 17, 2006: As I sit here sipping coffee and listening to the much-needed rain falling early this Monday morning, I thougt I would finish up the web-updates by making note of where the most recent have been. :-) There have been additions to the bio, links, and photo pages mainly, and more to come in the next few days. I seem to have temporarily gotten the computer issues under control as well as being over the flu that has knocked me out for over a week. Now I am free to update and edit again, woot! (Still in the process of getting a movie clip on the site...) In between work of course....which reminds me, this has to be brief. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Peace and bagpipes!

March 29, 2006: The Webgypsy Meg has been having some trying computer problems a lot here recently. (Not to mention quite a lot going on away from the website as well.) I am now in the process of looking for a new and more reliable computer, however, I have retrofitted a spare computer to serve me temporarily so that I may update the webspace and do video editing more often. There have been many new additions to the website this past week, mostly pages of new photos in the photo gallery. I am in the process of putting together a short video clip to add to the site as well, so please check back as it should be up and running in the next week or two - if all goes well.

February 19, 2006: A few more tweakings done to the website, cleaned up the bio pages a bit more, as well as set up the Blog and added the link to it. Less than a week to the New England Celtic Gypsies trip!

February 13, 2006: I'm not quite sure how this happens, but I always end up establishing an updates page months (sometimes even years) after having set up the main page! Updates for today include: The Bio Pages; almost done with those with two down and one left to go. The Photo Gallery, finally got around to adding the numerous photos from the Richmond Show as well as a few of our band photos. The Contact page is now up and running as is the links pages with dozens of eclectic links posted so far. We are still in the process of uploading things, but as you can see, the site is starting to take on a definite form. Check back soon for further updates!
