Have you ever wanted to learn the beautiful and graceful art form of belly dance, but never had the opportunity? Or perhaps you were a little shy about taking up something new?
Well, now is the time to come out and dance and meet some new friends!

Meaghan, founder of Celtic Gypsies, is excited to announce enrollment for her new student dance troupe!
This will be a combination Belly Dance Basics class and Student Dance Troupe with performance!

We will be covering the basic techniques of this art form, as well as combining some more advanced techniques the further the class moves along. Belly dance is also wonderful way to get a work out while listening to energetic music and having fun! We will also be learning basic drumming and some of the most common belly dance rhythyms used in today's performances.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: I have never taken dance lessons, can I still do this?
A: Absolutely! This particular session is geared for the
Dancer with little to no prior experience.

Q: Where can I learn more about belly dance?
A: There is a place online called Shira.net that has a wealth of information pertaining to the history and origin of the dance.
Q: I'm excited about learning belly dance,
but what do you wear in class?

A: Class dress code would be something comfy that you could move in, such as dance-type pants and a tank top or sports bra. For beginners, please don't wear skirts as it is harder to make the proper corrections for safe alignment. It is also recommended that you wear some type of scarf around your hips.
