...The Celtic Gypsies Dance Troupe offers something unique for the audience: the experience of many different dance forms in just one show. In particular they creatively and uniquely combine the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern dance, vigor and spirit of the Rom (Gypsies), energy and precision of Irish Step, and the celebration of Scottish Highland Dancing, along with whatever else the gypsies may accumulate during their travels. Stressing the historic and folkloric, while throwing in a bit of the modern at the same time, their performances are also enhanced by various props such as veils, swords, flat baskets, fans, and various percussions, among others. The audience is important, and they delight in audience participation, all the while striving to make sure their shows are family-friendly, fun, and engaging for all ages.
